Two weeks into my desert plunge and I could not be happier. The chiller is quiet and keeps the temp. The plunge stays clean with the ozone. I highly recommended this plunge. Great product.
I love my new plunge! It got delivered with a defective pump, but Desert Plunge customer service was on top of it right away. I had a replacement pump 2 days later. Would highly recommend this company due to the great customer service.
We have had our plunge for over 2 weeks. It has seen quite a bit of use. We changed the filter yesterday. It works great and stays cold. The ozone keeps it clean. We also added an outdoor shower about 4 months back which helps. So far it’s been a great product and gets way more use that our DIY plunge where we had to carry Ice from the freezer. The how to and maintenance videos are very helpful. Enjoy.
i have used several plunges over the years and this one is hands down my favorite! i love that its insulated and my chiller doesn't run 24/7. the water has stayed clean without any issues thanks to the filtration and ozone. its never cloudy and never dirty. i love that this is a modular setup as well. no concerns if i have to remove a section for cleaning. its simple, number coded, and a monkey could do it! love this plunge and i use it every single day!
Nice cover and fits very snug. For the price I was expecting something a bit thicker or insulated when I opened the box but it is very thin. Hopefully it holds up in the elements.

I have the DIY set up with chiller and filter. I had an existing Grizzly 450 that I added to. I have had the chiller for a month and it was worked like a dream. I got tired of carrying the ice and waiting for the tub to cool down. This is so much easier as it ready and cold all the time. I am strict at only getting in the tub after I shower and the water stays clean for extended periods of time. So far I would recommend DIY set up and the company for anyone who is considering the DIY version.
I purchased the tub only model to use with an outside chiller from a previous inflatable tub purchase. After buying a 3/4 to 1/2 Adapter Fitting Reducing Solid Hex Nipple it worked perfectly. The increased insulation that this tub provides has made it so my chiller works much less than my previous inflatable which should increase the lifespan of the chiller. This has been a great purchase with no regrets. I am 6'1, 280lbs and I fit in the regular (non-wide) tub with no problem. This has been great!

After doing a lot of research of different cold plunge options, the Desert Plunge has been left me with zero regrets. It’s the best bang for your buck cold plunge out there, and even better than higher dollar plunges in my opinion due to its elite insulation and modular design (making replacement parts super easy if needed). My wife and I use it several times a week and it has become such a fun addition for our family.
I bought the 450 cold plunge to provide relief from my arthritis and have not been disappointed. I have also noticed I am not as hot during the day. I don’t have to have the AC set as low as I normally did.
Wasn’t hard to set up. Good communication from the company. I was happy to get it up and running. Been using it everyday since.
The Desert Plunge product has been excellent thus far. Easy to setup up, maintains temp very good. Didn’t realize how inconvenient ice really was. Set it and forget it!
Couple things to help buyers: shipping for me was freight/trailor and setup of tub is only one way on one side.
I purchased a different product to get into cold plunging and in 3 years I learned that I wanted A) something insulated and B) a chiller. It is very overwhelming shopping the market but ultimately we landed at the Desert Plunge Executive. It seemed to check all the boxes and be the most value priced amongst its peers. Its very easy to set up. Very easy to use. and very easy to maintain. It holds its temperature very well and uses a conservative amount of energy. I would highly recommend and would buy again.
I wish I could tell the IG algorithm that my mind is made up and they don't need to advertise other plunges to me anymore. My search is over.
I'm thrilled with everything about my tub. It came well packaged and is just as advertised: comfortable and COLD. I barely have to run my chiller... the water simply stays cold. Would recommend to anyone.
One month in, and I couldn't be happier with my Desert Plunge. I did a ton of research before buying a cold plunge, and living in Austin—where it feels like it's perpetually hot—Desert Plunge was by far the best option.
Setup was incredibly easy, it stays consistently cold, and I rarely even notice the chiller running. It's made the Texas summer so much more enjoyable, and I find myself using it every day (usually multiple times per day).
Maintenance has been practically nonexistent (as long as you rinse off before getting in), which has been a huge plus. I've already recommended Desert Plunge to several friends, and I'd absolutely buy it again.
I started my cold plunge journey about a year ago and had been very interested in the desert plunge design. I am so glad I decided to go with the DP. I went back and forth for months on building my own or purchasing a kit as most kits had hit or miss reviews. I saw this brand all over reddit, and so much so I knew it couldnt be all bots. I wish I would have bitten the bullet in the very beginning and listened to the reviews. I have nothing critial to say, the quality is fantastic, the set up is under 10 minutes, and I was in that night. The fittings work perfect, it seals perfectly, the attention to detail is impressive, and the chiller is pretty quiet, the measurements were on point. I am in Florida, and this sits outside, I am in it about 3-4x a day, and it maintains temp, maybe a degree off in the peak of the day but comes back down as soon as golden hour approaches. My one regret is not spending the $ on the insulation sleeves right off the bat. I ended up buything them later on and having to pay shipping. Its hot here, the pipes sweat, mosquitos love water. The sleeves are helping very very much. I havent owned a spa so the chemical kit seemed pricey but its simple and you dont need much, and it takes the thinking out. I went with the 450 as my husband is broad shouldered, it was the right call, he can open his arms up and cross his legs. We LOVE this thing. Simple, thoughtful and perfect. Thank you!
