I purchased a different product to get into cold plunging and in 3 years I learned that I wanted A) something insulated and B) a chiller. It is very overwhelming shopping the market but ultimately we landed at the Desert Plunge Executive. It seemed to check all the boxes and be the most value priced amongst its peers. Its very easy to set up. Very easy to use. and very easy to maintain. It holds its temperature very well and uses a conservative amount of energy. I would highly recommend and would buy again.
I wish I could tell the IG algorithm that my mind is made up and they don't need to advertise other plunges to me anymore. My search is over.
I'm thrilled with everything about my tub. It came well packaged and is just as advertised: comfortable and COLD. I barely have to run my chiller... the water simply stays cold. Would recommend to anyone.
One month in, and I couldn't be happier with my Desert Plunge. I did a ton of research before buying a cold plunge, and living in Austin—where it feels like it's perpetually hot—Desert Plunge was by far the best option.
Setup was incredibly easy, it stays consistently cold, and I rarely even notice the chiller running. It's made the Texas summer so much more enjoyable, and I find myself using it every day (usually multiple times per day).
Maintenance has been practically nonexistent (as long as you rinse off before getting in), which has been a huge plus. I've already recommended Desert Plunge to several friends, and I'd absolutely buy it again.

I am so glad I decided to go with the DP. I went back and forth for months on building my own or purchasing a kit as most kits had hit or miss reviews. I saw this brand all over reddit, and so much so I knew it couldnt be all bots. I wish I would have bitten the bullet in the very beginning and listened to the reviews. I have nothing critial to say, the quality is fantastic, the set up is under 10 minutes, and I was in that night. The fittings work perfect, it seals perfectly, the attention to detail is impressive, and the chiller is pretty quiet, the measurements were on point. I am in Florida, and this sits outside, I am in it about 3-4x a day, and it maintains temp, maybe a degree off in the peak of the day but comes back down as soon as golden hour approaches. My one regret is not spending the $ on the insulation sleeves right off the bat. I ended up buything them later on and having to pay shipping. Its hot here, the pipes sweat, mosquitos love water. The sleeves are helping very very much. I havent owned a spa so the chemical kit seemed pricey but its simple and you dont need much, and it takes the thinking out. I went with the 450 as my husband is broad shouldered, it was the right call, he can open his arms up and cross his legs. We LOVE this thing. Simple, thoughtful and perfect. Thank you!
Love the quality of the tub and the components. Cold plunging in the desert heat is tough, so really wanted to make sure I had a solid setup. Looking forward to many years of cold plunging.
None of the review videos I watched does this plunge justice. From order to delivery took 14 days exactly. When it arrived it was well packaged with no damage and everything easily labeled. They send instruction videos prior to delivery to prepare you which honestly only took about 15-20 minutes. The quality of the tub and the hosing is fantastic and this chiller is a champ. It was 104 when I filled the tub and went to work and it was 45 by the time I got home holding steady.
I went ahead and bought the Wide Grizzly 450, which I guess officially makes me a “widebody” in the eyes of Desert Plunge.
The extra width is clutch — I’m not wedged in there like a trout in a too‑small cooler. I can sit cross‑legged, stretch out, and actually relax while freezing myself into a better human. It cools fast, holds temp like a champ, and feels built for people who live in places where the horizon is 400 miles wide and so are our shoulders.
Setup was easy. Water stays clean. I plunge every day now like some kind of ranch‑adjacent wellness influencer. If you’re on the fence about size, just embrace your inner Montana widebody and go big. We don’t do “narrow” out here anyway.

Great product! Easy to set up. The set up took about an hour including filling it up with water. The video tutorial was super easy to understand. I've only had it for a few days, but it has been great so far. The chiller maintains a steady temp. It has been mid-80s in Michigan this summer and it stays between 48 & 50 even when the sun is beating down on it.
One month in and loving it. I purchased the Ozone to go with it and the instructional videos were very helpful and the water still looks very clean and clear. I have also changed the water filter one time this past month as maintaining the parts is key to keeping everything running smoothly. I have not missed a day of using the Desert Plunge and I don't plan on missing any days soon.
Overall a great product and great quality. Since receiving the grizzly 450 wide I’ve plunged everyday. The chiller has kept the temp at 47 degrees easily in the Cape Cod summer heat. Very satisfied and will recommend!
First off, let me start by saying finding a plunge for me is extremely difficult. I’m a 6'3, 285 pound guy and very broad in my shoulders and I actually fit in this tub, I prioritized length over width and I'm glad I did. It’s extremely easy to set up and it’s handling the Las Vegas 110° heat like a champ. I’m only keeping it at 44° but I feel like it can handle even lower temps easily. I know it’s a pricey investment, but I’ve been cold plunging for two years and really wanted a high-quality and easy to use product. Also recommend getting the ozone water purification as it makes it extremely easy to manage.

I'm starting off by using blocks of ice from frozen tupperware tubs but will eventually purchase the cooling system. Excellent insulation characteristics.
Well the whole processes was seamless! I called Customer service with some questions , concerns and the support was excellent. Set up was easy & the product is bullet proof. I have my plunge set up in my pool area in the shade. The chiller keeps temp amazingly. I love the size of the wide Grizzly. I plunge every day for the anti-inflammatory benefits and well-being. My husband also started to plunge which is amazing. Just a note. We had a temporary glitch in our electricity, and when I went to plunge the next day, the system was off. We live in Florida. The feel like temperature was 110 my grizzly kept the water stable at 57°. I have it set at 55 It was amazing. So happy I went with this product. get one!!

I’m 6’3” tall. 215 lbs and I can fully submerge by body down to my chin. Holds temp very well. Sitting up straight I can also fully extend my legs.
I have had my system set up for two weeks now, and couldn’t be happier! Delivery to CA was faster than expected, set up was straight forward, customer support has been crazy fast in response to any questions and build quality is solid.
I would recommend going with the larger size. I purchased the 450 and glad I did, since I think my 6’4 frame has more room in the wider model.
