Ozone sanitation is a is a great chemical-free option for keeping your water clean. A generator attaches to the back of your cold plunge tub, releasing ozone into the water daily using an air pump. The ozone generator turns on and off by a timer, making it a hands-off maintenance option. While ozone can be a great sanitation method, you need to ensure you are entering the plunge after rinsing off and wearing swimsuit material only. Ozone is a powerful oxidizing agent which when dissolved in water, produces a broad spectrum biocide that helps eliminate bacteria and viruses; ozone for water treatment has been used since 1904. See also our Ozone FAQs and check out the video for more information. Please note, if you keep your cold plunge outside in freezing temperatures, ozone tubing will need to be monitored for blockages, and ozone should not be used in temperatures below 20 degrees F.
Water Treatment: Sirona
Our Sirona Water Maintenance Kit is a chlorine free and bromine free product that you’ll add to your cold plunge water based on the results of weekly testing; testing info and pH strips are included.
The Sirona Water Maintenance Kit is a stronger cleaning agent than ozone; it is ideal if there are a number of people regularly using your cold plunge or if your are not as diligent about rinsing off before getting in the water. See more information about Sirona use and testing on our care and maintenance page.

WHAT THEY’RE SAYING
The answer is yes. I am a first responder and deal with many challenges regarding tension, stress, and anxiety. Cold plunging is something i got into about a year ago to help deal with these things and i do not in any way regret this purchase. It is rugged, forgiving, stylish, and affordable considering how much cold plunges cost these days. It has improved my sleep better than anything I have tried and has benefits that work better than any SSRI ive ever tried. After receiveing my unit i made an error and stripped a thread. After contacting the company they sent me a replacement piece that i was completely willing to pay for due to it being user error and they did not charge me for the part. It was here in a couple days and i was back up and running. The customer service is absolutley next level. One last tid bit to add is that I am 6'4 and fit in it great. Just a tip: if you are my height head dunking is extremely easy if you just put your feet up on the front and slide down. Nobody told me about said position until recently and just wanted to pass that on.
The plunge is amazing. The extra investment pays off so quickly when you factor in the savings of how long this things keeps the water cold if your just using ice, or how low your chiller can push the temps if using a chiller. With 100 degree days my chiller keeps the plunge at 39 degrees. My previous inflatable “insulated” plunge wouldn’t go below 55 with the exact same chiller setup. Having the seal on the lid and it being lockable also keeps the water must cleaner in our dusty climate and keeps bugs and any other inquisitive animals or kids out. Great purchase overall and I’m more than satisfied. My only complaint is that I wish I would have invested the money into my desert plunge sooner!
Been using the inflatable pods for years. While they work, they also require a lot care and attention. I Finally pulled the trigger on the desert plunge. This thing is amazing. It holds the temp, no condensation, easy to clean, easy to maintain, and looks good. I can get it down and hold the temp in low to mid thirties with a 1/3 size pump. It’s comfortable enough to sit shoulders deep and big enough to complete submerge yourself. It’s worth the money.
Very happy with my purchase. I used a chiller that I had with the desert plunge tub and it has been great. I would definitely recommend!
started my home set up with an inflatable big mistake. after cleaning up after leak in my basement carpet (and a professional carpet service bill), i went with this solid tub with my chiller. After a bit of tinkering and help from tech at desert plunge i have been enjoying the peace of mind and piece of peace that is my plunge tub. we all would like to save more money but in this case i got what i paid for.
