We've had our Desert Plunge set up for just over a month and a half now in our Florida garage, which is set up as a gym. We did 2 weeks of 55 at 3 minutes and then dropped it to 50 for 5 minutes 6 days a week, only taking Sunday off. The plan is to get locked into 45 at 5 minutes, but even a single degree can be felt! The unit itself was so easy to install and get up and running using the provided filter to fill the plunge. Because our garage was so warm this summer and the chiller plumbing was cold, we noticed crazy amounts of condensation. The fix was to pick up some foam water pipe insulation from the local box store. This helped the pump for efficiency. I did a ton of research and landed on desert plunge. I like the idea that it’s a giant cooler and boy does it keep the temp steady. I have it set up in my garage and the chiller barely runs once it got to my desired temp. I had a stock tank prior and wasted a ton of money trying to get it cold enough. Long story short if you are in the market for a cold plunge this is the one. Ordering was simple and assembling it was even simpler. I had it up and running within 30 minutes after unboxing. Instructions were clear and everything needed was there.

I bought this plunge without owning any other system however there isn’t a single thing I would change on it. It works flawlessly. Easy to set up and maintain. Even on brutally hot days it stays at temp.
We purchased our Desert Plunge Wide Grizzly 450 Cold Plunge about a month ago, using it daily since arrival. Two of my sons have assembled their own cold plunges, one with a stock tank and the other using the Grizzly 450. I had experimented with both tubs and after seeing the simplicity of utilizing the Grizzly 450 I was sold on the platform. I did a lot of research, watched a lot of YouTube reviews and read as many reviews as I could find on Desert Plunge. Besides the excellent reviews, the back story on why Matt and his wife started the business sold us on Desert Plunge.
Shipping, delivery and setup were as easy as the ordering process. The tub was ordered with the optional Ozone Generator pre-installed making for a professional and neat looking setup. We took the additional step of insulating all of the lines prior to doing the final assembly to reduce condensation, which has worked wonderfully. We were able to completely setup, fill and have the chiller cooling our tub within 30-45 minutes from the time it was taken off of the shipping pallet.
While the cost of the Desert Plunge was a little more than DIY, it was worth every penny to not spend the time tracking down, ordering, fitting and assembling the various parts necessary to start using our cold plunge. We are extremely pleased with our purchase from Desert Plunge.
