I delayed getting this product for over a year and it was a huge mistake waiting so long. Purchase Desert Plunge at the end of August and couldn’t wait to put it together. The process was super easy with all the parts being numbered. Took overnight to get to my temp setting of 45. I have been in this plunge every morning except when I am out of town and I miss it dearly even if I am only gone for a few days. I usually some for about 8-10 minutes and when I get out the feeling is amazing the mental clarity and almost like
a runners high if you’ve ever had that feeling. If you keep putting off getting this product, don’t delay any more just do it.

I like how everything is accessible and I can replace any parts that may fail in future years. Ingenious modification of a large cooler to create a cold plunge. I added a timer for the pump and chiller so it doesn't run 24/7. Also I try to support local and the customer service has been great.

Did the whole ice in a tub deal for about a month and after a ton of research I decided on the Desert Plunge Wide. At 6’3” 250 I fit perfectly. I live in Florida and keep it in my garage and it stays cold with no issues. I’m hopeful they will make and sell a mat for under the plunge one day to retain water from the displacement spillage and condensation but otherwise completely satisfied.

Tried to decide between a few different cold plunge builds for quite some time, glad I finally took the plunge and ordered the desert plunge wide during their Labor Day special. Set up and maintenance instructions are super easy to follow and the kit is set up in a way that makes the components look neat and tidy at the back of the cooler. No drilling needed and the dimensions of the tub are custom, can’t get anywhere else. If you are on the fence between this and DIY, just do yourself a favor and go with the desert plunge it’s going to look much better and the support/community is great as well.
I did a lot of research on cold plunges and decided to go with a Grizzly Cooler. I was going to order direct from Grizzly and found out that the Best option is Desert Plunge instead. I’m so happy that I ordered from Desert Plunge. My cooler came ready to hook up to my chiller, no need to drill holes. I went to the local store to buy my fittings and I was chilling that same day. I'm totally satisfied with the Desert Plunge Cover. Excellent design and material. I used the Plunge Cover the other day before the rain came; and it works perfectly. I was able to keep my Desert Plunge on and running through out the rain showers.

I couldn’t be happier with this cold plunge. This is my third plunge setup and by far the best (while being less expensive than one of the other two). It maintains very low temps in a hot climate and is very easy to maintain. One of the founders, Matt, personally called me to assist me with my purchase (as I had some unique requests). I was somewhat skeptical about cold plunging. After thinking about it for three years I took the plunge. I selected the Desert Plunge because it seals up completely when not in use. I have the unit on my back porch on my farm. Its important to not have the occasional escaped chicken in the plunge. Anyway, after two weeks I am addicted to this thing. After the first thirty seconds of shock, a feeling of relaxation comes over me. I can't wait to get home today and take the plunge
My family (two 40-somethings and teenage son) has utilized the Exclusive model with 1/4 HP chiller for 10 months. I'm 6'5" 235 lbs and easily fit with water over my shoulders and up to my chin. The efficiencies of this cold plunge cannot be overstated. We're in the Southeast USA and there is zero issue with maintaining 40F with the 1/4HP chiller. The set up is clear and concise. And using both the Ozone along with Desert Plunge's straightforward Sirona water maintenance procedures have minimized water refilling/replacement. Our noted benefits are improved sleep, greater mental clarity, and accelerated exercise recovery. We plunge 4-7 times per week. I reviewed so many Youtube videos and read many comparisons. We chose our Desert Plunge based on build quality, value for money and knowing they are a small company. We also knew the company has great reviews and more importantly great customer service.
We have had our plunge for almost 3 weeks. We use it every morning and it is great. I love the lid that keeps out the environment and keeps it kid safe. The lid lock when using it is solid.

This has been one of the best investments in my physical and mental health in a long time. I was crammed in my previous tub being 6’2”. This has made the whole process so much easier and more enjoyable. Once at temperature, the tub barely even needs the chiller to kick back on because of how insulated. Customer service has been excellent! I had questions during shipping and was able to speak with a real person. After deliver I had a few follow up questions and immediately received response. From the outside looking in most would just see this as a larger insulated cooler. Cold water exposure in many ways has saved my life and every interaction with Desert Plunge so far has shown they just get it. If I could rate 10 starts I would.
We've had our Desert Plunge set up for just over a month and a half now in our Florida garage, which is set up as a gym. We did 2 weeks of 55 at 3 minutes and then dropped it to 50 for 5 minutes 6 days a week, only taking Sunday off. The plan is to get locked into 45 at 5 minutes, but even a single degree can be felt! The unit itself was so easy to install and get up and running using the provided filter to fill the plunge. Because our garage was so warm this summer and the chiller plumbing was cold, we noticed crazy amounts of condensation. The fix was to pick up some foam water pipe insulation from the local box store. This helped the pump for efficiency.
