This limited-edition, wider iceless ice bath experience is perfect for tandem cold plunging, people who like to sit cross legged as they plunge, or those just wanting a little more room to spread out. Water Treatment: Ozone

Ozone sanitation is a is a great chemical-free option for keeping your water clean. A generator attaches to the back of your cold plunge tub, releasing ozone into the water daily using an air pump. The ozone generator turns on and off by a timer, making it a hands-off maintenance option. While ozone can be a great sanitation method, you need to ensure you are entering the plunge after rinsing off and wearing swimsuit material only. Ozone is a powerful oxidizing agent which when dissolved in water, produces a broad spectrum biocide that helps eliminate bacteria and viruses; ozone for water treatment has been used since 1904. Please note, if you keep your cold plunge outside in freezing temperatures, ozone tubing will need to be monitored for blockages, and ozone should not be used in temperatures below 20 degrees F.

I was super excited to purchase my Desert Plunge, and pleasantly surprised at how quickly it went from order to arrival. Every component was packed inside the cooler and the cooler was repackaged in its original Grizzly packaging, which in my opinion was a great way to minimize waste and ensure the product was adequately protected for delivery.
Assembly was so very easy and straightforward. I am super pleased with how quick I went from unpacking to assembled and filling it with water.
I have mine set to 44 degrees, which the chiller easily maintains, I live about 45 miles east of SF where the weather can get into the low 100s, so far this year we have hit high 90s and the water is within the degree range I configured the chiller to be in, consistently.
Sure I could have DIY’d it, but given the polished final product and the frustrations of sourcing the parts myself, it was an easy choice to purchase this product.

Absolutely amazing! We purchased a starter plunge with a chiller last November and wanted to move up to a better and larger unit. We did a lot of research and found Desert Plunge to be the best. So many things we love about it but a few are the “cooler” itself is hard and closes and locks. We found that the chiller has to work less because of the quality and insulation. Desert Plunge also has an option for ozone treatment, which is a must, just set the timer and that’s it. This is also the best chiller on the market. Set up was easy and only took about 15 minutes everything’s is pre done and impossible to mess up. If you’re as serious about plunging as we are look no further then Desert Plunge.

First I want to thank the Family at Desert Plunge!! You are amazing and I wish you great success!!! My plunge was delivered to the house and the shipper did not show up with a lift gate. This was an issue as the driver had to pull it off of the truck thus damaging the cooler and the feet were missing and the unit had cosmetic damage. I reached out and was given a response immediately. I received new feet and after setting up did not notice any other issues with the unit. The plunge itself is very easy to set up as everything is numbered and they include video directions as well. I have been using it twice daily and could not be happier!!! The “Grizzly” cold plunge tub is nothing short of AWESOME! It arrived within 10 days of ordering it (it had to ship to North Carolina and I had to wait a few days to schedule delivery due to my work schedule), took me literally about 15 minutes to set it up, and – after adding some ice bags to it to get the temp down – was ready to use in an hour (at 40 degrees). I’ve only been using it for two days but it is truly a dream from ordering to setting up to using. I watched a great video (by David Maus Jr. – they have the link on the “accessories” page for the ozone add-on) to take me through the step-by-step setup but all the connections (e.g. hoses to fittings on the tub) were numbered so even without the video, I think I could have figured it out fairly quickly even without the video. As background, I started doing “cold plunges” last fall using my outdoor pool after learning about the benefits through a podcast by Dr. Anthony Balduzzi of the Fit Father Project where he interviewed the Desert Plunge founder Matt Kuiper. After benefitting IMMENSELY from the cold plunges (the “serotonin/dopamine” effects are for real as are the circulatory, metabolic, muscle recovery, mental toughness, etc. benefits) throughout the winter, I started to experience a noticeable decrease in the benefits as the water in my pool warmed up in the spring. My wife INSISTED I get this as even she noticed the difference. I am SO glad I listened to her (as usual). I splurged and got the ozone and sanitation kit and I’m happy with both as I want to keep this thing clean and humming for as long as I can. The whole thing seems sturdy, the pump and filter are SO quiet, and I’m hoping that it lasts a LONG time. It’s actually smaller than I thought (but exactly per the dimensions on this site) but I fit in it comfortably (I’m 6 foot even, about 165-170 lbs) and it’s easy to step into. It may seem like a lot of money but I truly believe it’s worth it given the MANY benefits I receive from it. IMHO – It’s better to pay a couple of thousand and live a healthy, quality life now (I’m in my late-50s) than suffer for a couple of decades and pay TENS of thousands to doctors and pharmacies to heal all the the mental and physical aches (which is ultimately just treating the symptoms – NOT the causes) later. First things first, the family that owns and operates this company is truly in it for the right reasons. They are generous and kind and want to help people use the tools that have helped them. I came to these guys during a rough time in my life and healing journey and they were patient, kind and generous towards me. As for the cold plunge, it’s a worthy investment at a very affordable cost. I’ve had my plunge for a few months now and I love it. I use it every single day, at times twice a day. It’s been huge in my healing journey with PTSD and is a daily part of my integration. The tub is well made, durables easy to care for and a set it and forget it until it’s time to switch filters and water. It holds temp no problem. I am going to get a cover for it so I can keep the sun damage at bay as well as help it hold temp better. But all in all I’m happy to have had the opportunity to support this company and would recommend them to anyone looking to invest in their health and well being.

SO happy with my purchase!!! I had problems with osteoarthritis which really affected my lower extremities. After my first plunge I could tell the difference. I couldn’t help but relate to Matt’s story about how plunging helped his anxiety. It has been such a challenge, but so rewarding to plunge each morning. I was super excited to purchase my Desert Plunge, and pleasantly surprised at how quickly it went from order to arrival. Every component was packed inside the cooler and the cooler was repackaged in its original Grizzly packaging, which in my opinion was a great way to minimize waste and ensure the product was adequately protected for delivery.
Assembly was so very easy and straightforward. I am super pleased with how quick I went from unpacking to assembled and filling it with water.
I have mine set to 44 degrees, which the chiller easily maintains, I live about 45 miles east of SF where the weather can get into the low 100s, so far this year we have hit high 90s and the water is within the degree range I configured the chiller to be in, consistently.
Sure I could have DIY’d it, but given the polished final product and the frustrations of sourcing the parts myself, it was an easy choice to purchase this product.

Just upgraded to Desert Plunge with ozone from DIY freezer. It is a drastic improvement. The ease of set up and maintenance made it so worth it. The water is a consistent temperature, always sanitized and clean. The look of it is perfect as well.

Absolutely amazing! We purchased a starter plunge with a chiller last November and wanted to move up to a better and larger unit. We did a lot of research and found Desert Plunge to be the best. So many things we love about it but a few are the “cooler” itself is hard and closes and locks. We found that the chiller has to work less because of the quality and insulation. Desert Plunge also has an option for ozone treatment, which is a must, just set the timer and that’s it. This is also the best chiller on the market. Set up was easy and only took about 15 minutes everything’s is pre done and impossible to mess up. If you’re as serious about plunging as we are look no further then Desert Plunge.

First I want to thank the Family at Desert Plunge!! You are amazing and I wish you great success!!! My plunge was delivered to the house and the shipper did not show up with a lift gate. This was an issue as the driver had to pull it off of the truck thus damaging the cooler and the feet were missing and the unit had cosmetic damage. I reached out and was given a response immediately. I received new feet and after setting up did not notice any other issues with the unit. The plunge itself is very easy to set up as everything is numbered and they include video directions as well. I have been using it twice daily and could not be happier!!! The “Grizzly” cold plunge tub is nothing short of AWESOME! It arrived within 10 days of ordering it (it had to ship to North Carolina and I had to wait a few days to schedule delivery due to my work schedule), took me literally about 15 minutes to set it up, and – after adding some ice bags to it to get the temp down – was ready to use in an hour (at 40 degrees). I’ve only been using it for two days but it is truly a dream from ordering to setting up to using. I watched a great video (by David Maus Jr. – they have the link on the “accessories” page for the ozone add-on) to take me through the step-by-step setup but all the connections (e.g. hoses to fittings on the tub) were numbered so even without the video, I think I could have figured it out fairly quickly even without the video. As background, I started doing “cold plunges” last fall using my outdoor pool after learning about the benefits through a podcast by Dr. Anthony Balduzzi of the Fit Father Project where he interviewed the Desert Plunge founder Matt Kuiper. After benefitting IMMENSELY from the cold plunges (the “serotonin/dopamine” effects are for real as are the circulatory, metabolic, muscle recovery, mental toughness, etc. benefits) throughout the winter, I started to experience a noticeable decrease in the benefits as the water in my pool warmed up in the spring. My wife INSISTED I get this as even she noticed the difference. I am SO glad I listened to her (as usual). I splurged and got the ozone and sanitation kit and I’m happy with both as I want to keep this thing clean and humming for as long as I can. The whole thing seems sturdy, the pump and filter are SO quiet, and I’m hoping that it lasts a LONG time. It’s actually smaller than I thought (but exactly per the dimensions on this site) but I fit in it comfortably (I’m 6 foot even, about 165-170 lbs) and it’s easy to step into. It may seem like a lot of money but I truly believe it’s worth it given the MANY benefits I receive from it. IMHO – It’s better to pay a couple of thousand and live a healthy, quality life now (I’m in my late-50s) than suffer for a couple of decades and pay TENS of thousands to doctors and pharmacies to heal all the the mental and physical aches (which is ultimately just treating the symptoms – NOT the causes) later. First things first, the family that owns and operates this company is truly in it for the right reasons. They are generous and kind and want to help people use the tools that have helped them. I came to these guys during a rough time in my life and healing journey and they were patient, kind and generous towards me. As for the cold plunge, it’s a worthy investment at a very affordable cost. I’ve had my plunge for a few months now and I love it. I use it every single day, at times twice a day. It’s been huge in my healing journey with PTSD and is a daily part of my integration. The tub is well made, durables easy to care for and a set it and forget it until it’s time to switch filters and water. It holds temp no problem. I am going to get a cover for it so I can keep the sun damage at bay as well as help it hold temp better. But all in all I’m happy to have had the opportunity to support this company and would recommend them to anyone looking to invest in their health and well being.

I have been cold plunging for about 6 months and was looking for a new plunge system that included a chiller system. I researched everything out there and I chose the Desert Plunge with the ozone system. I live in AZ and I needed something that would stand up to the tough elements of extreme heat we have here during the summer. I received my order in about 2 business days and I followed the easy setup instructions and had it all set up and running in under 30 mins. My wife and I love and use our tub every day. We are up there in age and feel it gives us much relief from inflammation throughout our body. The one great asset we never thought of before our purchase, is the perk up to our day when we plunge late afternoon. He made use I was comfortable with everything before I loaded up and that made setup so easy. I was done in less than 20 mins and that includes filling with water. SO happy with my purchase!!! I had problems with osteoarthritis which really affected my lower extremities. After my first plunge I could tell the difference. I was able to sleep through the night without my leg and foot pain waking me up. I have had it for about 3 weeks now and I feel 10 years younger. Matt and his staff were so helpful with all my questions and requests. Also so glad I went this route with the whole package ready to go. This plunge is fantastic quality and very worth the price, especially for your health. Plunging adds 10 minutes to my morning routine and is so convenient. I go from shower, to plunge, to getting dressed. Adds 10 min a day between shower and dressing and you are energized. If you’re looking for a quality cold plunge at an affordable price, look no further! I’ve had the plunge for about a month and absolutely love it. Ordering and delivery was seamless. I couldn’t help but relate to Matt’s story about how plunging helped his anxiety. It has been such a challenge, but so rewarding to plunge each morning. I feel so much energy for hours after getting in. I do a lot of CrossFit, and it has been a game changer for soreness and quick recovery. The Desert Plunge is super easy to set up and maintain. I started researching cold plunges after I used my cousins for two weeks and needed to get one for myself. It is the first thing I do in the morning and has helped with some of my Chronic Lyme Symptoms. It immediately relieves my stiff joints and back pain that I wake up with in the morning and then I am off to do my workout for the day. It also helps calm my mind as I know stress can trigger my symptoms. My older children and husband use it frequently also before or after their cross fit workouts.
